Kaitlyn Gill rode Pongo to a win at the Junior North American Field Hunter Championship Trials Nov. 1. Scott Hamilton, world-renowned figure skater and Olympic Gold Medalist, is back on the ice this month after more than five years without skating after a brain tumor scare. The severe economic recession and maturity of the Japanese telecom market have compelled Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp. ( NTT ) to look at other geographies. Industry sources predicted that the company has started negotiation with Patni Computer System, the sixth largest software services exporter of India , to acquire 66% stake in the latter. Entry into India will unlock the $60 billion IT and ITES (IT enabled services) market to Nippon .  

The Coventry Building Society will allow existing customers to borrow up to 125pc of their property's value if they need to move. The deal is available only to people with a good credit history who have never fallen behind with their mortgage repayments. Under the offer, customers can transfer their existing mortgage to a property of equal or lower value than their current home.
